WITH THE 2010 PartyCasino.com Weber Cup set to get underway at 19.00 Matchroom Sport can announce the order of play for the opening evening’s play. Both captain’s and their teams have been practising all afternoon and getting the hang of the conditions in the unique single lane set up at the Metrodome, Barnsley.

There are five singles matches, with a team Baker format game opening proceedings. In a unique twist, the final match of the evening sees the two competing players selected by their opponents’ captains.

Match 1 - ’Baker’ Match (all four to play)
Match 2 - Osku Palermaa v Tommy Jones
Match 3 - Paul Moor v Chris Barnes
Match 4 - Mika Koivuniemi v Pete Weber
Match 5 - Dominic Barrett v Tim Mack
Match 6 - Singles match (Each bowler is picked by the opponent’s captain)

Featuring a potential total of 33 matches over the weekend, the first team to reach 17 points will lift the coveted trophy. Starting in 2000, the USA has won six Weber Cups and the Europeans four, although the Europeans are defending champions following a 17-11 win last year.
